Single Family Rental - The Investment is Significant

Pintar Investment Company has been a big believer in the Single-Family Rental (SFR) asset class since 2009. It’s interesting to see how large institutional operators are moving into this investment strategy and how much opportunity exists.

It’s simple. Everyone needs to live somewhere.

In the United States alone, there are approximately 328 million people living in approximately 123 million dwellings - 45 million of those are renter households.
SFR make up roughly 16 million units - nearly 13.0% of all housing stock and 36% of all rental households.

To put that in perspective: About one household in eight in the U.S. lives in a single-family rental property. The investment opportunity in this asset class is significant, and we don’t see the demand decreasing.
